[SYSTEM] New Fishing System

What does the fishing pole level means ? Like for example we need fishing pole+18 to be able to hook/catch loach? Sorry for my noob question, looks quite cool system and looking forward. Thanks

Heya,

the Map is a custom made map, but it already existed, it wasn't specially made for us, however, it looked so good and perfectly fit into what we wanted and needed, that asking the mapper to create a new one was simply not needed.

There's just something that I think it's wrong: there is no Fishing Pole +0. The Fisherman (NPC) sells Fishing Poles +1.
That being said, I'd like to try this out! Thanks, it looks amazing

It only means thats the level required to catch them, if the level is above thats obviously also fine.

I have only fishing pole+10, now with new system I want to raise it to +20, I hope I can:) to be able to catch all fishes ofc!

Read the patch notes it’s Wroten there.

According to the new patch notes the fish can only be caught when the fish bubble is visible, the sooner you pull out your rod when this bubble appears, the higher the chances of success.

did someone also have bad experiences with new fish system 25 min atm not even 1 fish

I caught 0 fish so far but probably need to spend more time to be sure, even with fishing pole+10..

It would be great If fishing pole+9 and higher would sparkle or look different from lower + fishing poles.

You need to master it.

if ya have high latency is it worth to still fish?

It is reccomended to use the fishing marble so that you can pull out the moment you see the info XXX caught. Latency or not, if you pull out the moment you see the text you have 70% of success to catch a fish, compared to 50 of the old system. 70% last for 0.4 seconds, then lower to 50, 30 20 10 and 0. The sooner you pull out, the better.

It takes time to adjust to this system but is far better since with the old system you had no idea when to pull out, certain fish needed 3 seconds after the fishing bubble appeared, hard to calculate if you care to fish legit and not without a bot.
