  • Cthulhu is angered

    Cthulhu is really mad at me for I've fished too much.
    Nah, I'm just fed up with the lame assistance.
    Yeah, I know, there's better ways to say such things and better places. I didn't plan to be rude, but sometimes it's only natural to explode when you ask for help and you don't get much... and this happened TWICE.

    I reported a bug and I tried to help in any way I could to study it (and so to fix it), but it's not right to ask A PLAYER to delete a character to make a new one or to make a new account, especially if just a moment later the problem is addressed as "internet connection-related". I know it's not either of these, but nothing has been done since I've reported it (and I wasn't the only one to do so).

    The problem is in the character's race (and/or sex), the problem is in the internet connection, the problem is in the gamefiles... whatever the real reason is, I sure have lost my patience here.
    This was by far the best server I've ever been into and I'm glad to have been here, but the bug puts me in a situation where I can't do the only thing I wanted to do in here: to fish, and some people... well...

    "This is not a fishing game, we have other priorities" - I guess I'll follow someone's advice and start looking for a new game.

  • [SYSTEM] New Fishing System

    There's just something that I think it's wrong: there is no Fishing Pole +0. The Fisherman (NPC) sells Fishing Poles +1.
    That being said, I'd like to try this out! Thanks, it looks amazing :)

    All those fishes caught before this patch have lost their size.
    I'm speechless...
    How am I supposed to win the monthly contest with my 97.02 Salmon that now says "No length"?
    (P.S. "No length" is also shown on baits and dead fishes. Well...)

    Thanks everyone ^^ I'll do my best in the monthly contest (I usually play in the morning and when I get back home from work, after dinner).
    At the moment I have a Fishing Pole +4 and I'm gonna win the event, sooner or later ;) I remember I once fished a 98cm Lotus Fish and a Salmon that was over 100cm. I fished my very first Eel years ago, the very next morning I had a dream about fishing it.
    I've fished every fish, all over the years and I also used to keep two fishes alive per type (the biggest ones), in my inventory.

    Just to let you know how OBSESSED I am with fishing in Metin2 xD

  • The Best Fisher has arrived!

    Hi everybody! I've been playing Metin2 (many versions of it, but never this one) for the past ten years or more.
    The thing I like the most is definitely FISHING. It's just relaxing and entertaining (that works for me, at least).
    The thing I hate the most is PVP (well, you can laugh :D).
    I'm against all kinds of bots/hacks, despite being labeled twice as a cheater (I guess they got tired to see me fishing without buying, or to see me not playing like everybody else).
    If you see me fishing, you're free to talk to me! As I said, if I'm fishing it means I'm REALLY on it, so I'll talk back ^^

    To the players: nice to meet you!
    To the STAFF: please, DO TALK TO ME if something seems odd. I'm more than willing to comply!

    P.S. I hope my english is good enough (for I'm italian).
